Objective To detect the expression of CC chemokine ligand 18 (CCL18) in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and explore its role in the prognosis of cancer. Methods The immunohistochemical staining was performed to detect the expression of CCL18 in 64 pair of HCC and pericarcinomatous tissue collected from 2011 to 2012. The survival of each patient was followed up. The χ2 test was performed to compare the differences in the expression of CCL18 and Kaplan Meier method to analyze the survival status. The multivariate Cox regression was used for prognostic analysis. Results Strong positive, moderately positive, weakly positive and negative cases were 36, 14, 9 and 5 in cancer tissues, respectively, while  2, 9, 6 and 47  in pericarcinomatous tissue. CCL18 was highly expressed in cancer tissues which was in clinically staged I and II, also with low degree of tumor differentiation, no distant metastasis and with lymph node invasion. Patients with high CCL18 expression had a shorter survival period than that with low expression, and the CCL18 expression, cancer differentiation, staging were all important factors affecting the overall survival of HCC. Conclusion CCL18 could  be related with  the occurrence, development and prognosis of HCC, or it could serve as  a new biomarker for judging the prognosis of HCC.

Objectives To study the associations of total testosterone(TT)level and the serum glucose, insulin and sex hormones levels in women with polycystic ovary (PCOS). Methods One hundred and ninety-four untreated women with PCOS were enrolled for the study. The levels of serum TT, glucose, insulin and sex hormones [dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate (DHEAS), sex hormone binding globulin(SHBG), follicle stimulating hormone(FSH), luteinizing hormone( LH), estradiol(E2), progesterone(PO) and prolactin(PRL)] were measured , and the results were then analyzed. Results The BMI and DHEAS levels were significantly higher, while the age and PO levels were significantly lower in the higher TT Group compared with the lower TT group (P < 0.05). The BMI and DHEAS in the higher TT Group were 28.55(25.01-30.49)(kg/m2) and 218.00(155.00-327.00)μg/dL, respectively, and those in the lower TT Group were 27.06(23.00-29.30)kg/m2 and 198.00(142.00-254.00)μg/dL, respectively. The age and PO in the higher TT Group were 26.1±4.8 years and 0.39(0.24-0.64)ng/mL, respectively,  and those in the lower TT Group were 27.5±4.1years and 0.46(0.32-1.10)ng/mL, respectively. The TT level was positively correlated with the DHEAS level, but inversely related to age(P<0.05). The values of r were 0.221 and ?0.213, respectively. Conclusion The level of TT is not related to the serum levels of glucose and insulin, but the patients with high level of TT tend to be younger and more prone to obesity, and have poor sex hormone level.

Objective To investigate the relationship of ApoE gene polymorphism with the age and lipid levels in cerebral infarction patients. Methods A total of 221 patients with cerebral infarction were enrolled in the study. ApoE genotypes were detected by PCR fluorescent probe method. Patients were divide into group E2(E2E2 and E2E3), E3(E3E3) and E4(E4E4,E3E4) according to the ApoE genotypes, then test for TG, CHO, HDL, LDL, ApoA1 and ApoB in their serum. Qualitative analysis was performed by χ2 test, and quantitative data were checked by t test. Results 221 patients in Beijing Tiantan Hospital from Jan, 2017 to Dce, 2017 were studied. The frequencies of each genotype were: E2E2 genotype of 1.3%, E2E3 genotype of 8.1%, E3E3 genotype of 76.0%, E3E4 genotype of 14.0%, E4E4 genotype of 0, and E2E4 genotype of 0.5%; The percentage of E4 low age group(22.6%) was higher than the percentage of E3 low age group, P=0.037. The levels of CHO (3.54 ± 1.40 mmol/L) and LDL (2.13 ± 0.81 mmol/L) in the E2 group were lower than those in the E3 group (3.77 ± 0.93 mmol/L and 2.20 ± 0.78 mmol/L) , respectively. The P values were 0.007 and 0.020, respectively. There was no significant difference in blood lipid level between E3 group and E4 group in low age group. The TG, CHO, LDL and ApoB in E4 high age group were 1.74 ± 0.57 mmol/L, 4.25 ± 1.23 mmol/L, 2.61 ± 1.04 mmol/L, and 0.89 ± 0.30mmol/L, higher than those in E3 group (1.35±0.53 mmol/L, 3.80±0.90 mmol/L, 2.23±0.76 mmol/L, 0.79±0.24 mmol/L). P values between the two groups were 0.033, 0.009, 0.008, and 0.034. Conclusion ApoE gene polymorphism may affect the occurrence of cerebral infarction. Furthermore, the E2 gene has certain effect to reduce the blood lipid; E4 gene may be closely correlated with young adults with cerebral infarction in the low-age population, and may be involved in the occurrence of cerebral infarction by elevating blood lipids levels in patients of high-age.

Objective To investigate the correlation between serum sVCAM-1, TNF- α, HDL-C and NF-κB in patients with coronary heart disease. Methods The clinical data of 130 patients with coronary heart disease from September 2016 to September 2017 in our hospital were studied prospectively. The basic data, biochemical indexes, Spearman correlation analysis and Logistic multivariate regression analysis were carried out in all patients and 50 healthy persons who were examined in the same period as control group. Results The history of smoking, hypertension, diabetes, TG、LDL-C、sVCAM-1、TNF-α、NF-κB in the CHD group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and HDL-C was significantly lower than that in control group (P<0.05). The levels of serum sVCAM-1, TNF-α, NF-κB in AMI group were significantly higher than those in SAP group and UAP group (P<0.05). The levels of serum sVCAM-1, TNF-α, NF-κB in UAP group were significantly higher than those in SAP group (P<0.05), but there was no significant difference in HDL-C between the two groups (P>0.05). After pearson correlation analysis, there was a positive correlation between sVCAM-1, TNF-α and NF-κB in patients with coronary heart disease. HDL-C was negatively correlated with NF-κB in patients with coronary heart disease. Multivariate regression analysis showed that sVCAM-1, TNF-α and NF-κB were independent risk factors of coronary heart disease, and HDL-C was protective factor. Conclusion sVCAM-1, TNF-α, HDL-C and NF-κB are closely related to the occurrence and development of coronary heart disease, among which NF-κB is the key transcription factor to trigger inflammation. It may regulate the expression of sVCAM-1, TNF-α, HDL-C and affect the development of coronary heart disease.

The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis was performed to estimate the diagnostic values of SOX2OT, PVT1 and GHET1 in AFP-NHCC. Multinomial logistic regression analysis was used to calculate the odds ratio (OR) and 95% confidence interval (CI). Results The expression levels of lncRNA SOX2OT, PVT1 and GHET1 in AFP-NHCC patients were higher than those patients with benign liver diseases and the healthy controls, (P<0.05). The expression levels of SOX2OT, PVT1 and GHET1 were linearly correlated with lymph node metastasis (SOX2OT:R2=0.321,P=0.002;PVT1:R2=0.305,P=0.006;GHET1:R2=0.286,P=0.011) and TNM classification (SOX2OT:R2=0.313,P=0.001;PVT1:R2=0.291,P=0.007;GHET1:R2=0.289,P=0.017) in AFP-NHCC. ROC curve analysis showed that SOX2OT, PVT1 and GHET1 was of high value in differentiating AFP-NHCC from patients with benign liver diseases and healthy controls, and the sensitivity/specificity were 67.7%/44.0%, 80.5%/61.0% and 79.2%/89.0%, respectively. After combining these three lncRNAs, the specificity was increased significantly, reaching 90.4%. Logistic regression analysis showed that the level of high SOX2OT, PVT1 and GHET1 was an independent risk factor for the onset of AFP-NHCC after the correction of factors such as age, sex, smoking and drinking. Conclusion The diagnostic value of plasma SOX2OT, PVT1 and GHET1 in AFP-NHCC is of great clinical significance in evaluating the distant metastasis of AFP-NHCC.

Objective To investigate the significance of combined detection of serum folate receptor alpha (FRA), adropin protein and human serum epididymis 4 (HE4) in the diagnosis of endometrial carcinoma (EC). Methods 93 patients with EC (EC group), 96 patients with benign uterine diseases (benign uterine disease group) and 100 healthy women (control group) were selected as the subjects. Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used to detect the levels of serum FRA, adropin and HE4, and the correlationsamong the three indexes were analyzed. The subjects' work characteristic curve (ROC) and area under the curve (AUC)were used to evaluate the diagnosis value of EC. Results The serum FRA in EC group was 1614±191 pg/mL, adropin 1.94±0.75 ng/mL, and HE4 106.57 (22.39~1411.12)pmol/L, and those in the group of benign uterine diseases were 1142±156pg/mL, 9.07±2.57 ng/mLand 31.02 (13.05~163.02)pmol/L, while the control group were (448±153)pg/mL, (14.52±17.60) ng/ml, and5.61 (11.37~48.29)pmol/L.The FRA and HE4 of the EC group and the benign uterine disease group were significantly higher than those of the control group, and the adropin was significantly lower than that of the control group. The differences between the EC group and the benign uterine disease group were also statistically significant (P < 0.05), also the FRA and HE4 in the benign uterine disease group were significantly higher than those in the control group, while adropin was significantly lower than that of the control group (P < 0.05). In group EC, the serum FRA and HE4 of patients with clinical stage beyond stage II and deep myometrium infiltration were significantly higher than those of patients with stage I and superficial musculus infiltration, and adropin was significantly lower than those of stage I and superficial musculus infiltration patients(P< 0.05). There were no significant differences in serum FRA, adropin and HE4 levels across groups with different age, degrees of non-tumor differentiation, menopause and pathological type (P > 0.05). The serum levels of HE4 and FRA were positively correlated with the FRA (r=0.604, P<0.001), and HE4 and FRA were negatively correlated with adropin (r= 0.379, P=0.026; r= 0.442, P=0.002). The AUC and sensitivity of combined detection of FRA, HE4 and adropin in diagnosing EC were 0.951 (95%CI:0.893~0.980) and 91.96%. Conclusion The levels of serum adropin, FRA and HE4 in patients with EC are increased. These three indexes can be used as serological markers for EC, and the combined detection of markers is helpful for the diagnosis of endometrial carcinoma.

Objective To investigate the relationship between expression levels of CyclinD1, COX-2, and p53 and helicobacter pylori infection in gastric cancer.  Methods A total of 102 gastric cancer patients in our hospital from January 2015 to June 2017 (the presence of Helicobacter pylori infection in the tissues) were selected as the infection group. We also included 98 patients with gastric cancer (there were no Helicobacter pylori infection in the tissues) as the non-infection group, and 100 cases of patients with normal gastric mucosa and excluding precancerous lesions as the control group. We then used Spearman correlation analysis and Logistic multivariate regression analysis to compare the factors and risk factors of helicobacter pylori infection in gastric cancer among groups. Results Compared to the control group and the non-infection group, the positive rate and expression of p53, CyclinD1 and COX-2 were higher in the infection group (P<0.05);  The positive rate and expression of P53, CyclinD1 and COX-2 were correlated to helicobacter pylori bacterial infection in gastric cancer tissues (P<0.05);  The above factors were independent risk factors for incidence of helicobacter pylori bacterial infection in gastric cancer (P<0.05). Conclusion CyclinD1, COX-2 and p53 are highly expressed in gastric cancer tissues infected with Helicobacter pylori. Therefore, detection of these indicators is useful for the early diagnosis and treatment of gastric cancer.

Objective To investigate the clinical significance of the expression of HMGB-1 and NGAL in peripheral blood of patients with lung cancer with sepsis-induced lung damage. Methods A total of 196 patients with malignant tumors confirmed by the study were selected. Among them, 96 patients were concurrent lung injury with sepsis and the other 100 patients were non-septic lung cancer patients. By comparing the HMGB-1 and NGAL expression levels and prognosis of peripheral blood in two groups of patients, the clinical significance of the expression of HMGB-1 and NGAL in the prognosis of patients with septic lung cancer was analyzed. Data analysis was completed with SPSS18.0. Results In this study, 96 patients in the observation group and 100 patients in the control group were followed up. All the subjects were followed up for 2 years. 41 patients died in the observation group, with a mortality rate of 42.71%. In the control group, 30 patients were detected with a mortality rate of 30.00%.。Plasma levels of NGAL evaluation in patients with newly diagnosed results suggest that plasma NGAL levels in the observation group or patients died were significantly higher than that in the control group or patients survived, P <0.05. The levels of HMGB-1 in the newly diagnosed patients also showed that the level of serum HMGB-1 in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P <0.05), and the HMG-1 levels in the patients who were followed up less than 2 years because of death were higher than those of survivors, P <0.05. Further analysis, the sensitivity / specificity of serum HMGB-1 and NGAL in distinguishing pulmonary lesions from sepsis and non-sepsis were 78.3%/91.2% and 64.7%/76.1%, respectively, and the sensitivity of combined serum HMGB-1 and NGAL to sepsis and non-sepsis lung damage was 81.7%, and the specificity was 89.8%. The sensitivity / specificity of serum HMGB-1 and NGAL for the survival and death of patients after 2 years of identification were 80.1%/87.6% and 73.2%/62.4%, respectively, and the sensitivity of combined serum HMGB-1 and NGAL to the survival and death of patients after 2 years was 78.5% and the specificity was 90.4%. Conclusion There is a correlation between the high level of plasma NGAL and the presence of lung injury in sepsis and the positive association with poor prognosis. High levels of HMGB-1 are also closely associated with the presence of lung damage in sepsis and also positively associated with poor prognosis.

Objective To explore the short-term curative effect of laparoscopic radical prostatectomy in the treatment of prostate cancer and the influence on serum prostate specific antigen (PSA), vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and insulin-like growth factor I (IGF-I) levels. Methods 120 patients with prostate cancer were divided into experimental group and control group by random number table method, with 60 cases in each group. The two groups were treated by laparoscopic radical prostatectomy or open radical resection, respectively. Operative indexes (operative time, intraoperative blood loss, intestinal function recovery time, hospital stay), curative effect indexes [International Prostate Symptom Score (IPSS), the maximum flow rate, residual urine volume] and complications in the two groups were evaluated. Levels of serum total prostate specific antigen (t-PSA), free prostate specific antigen (f-PSA), VEGF and IGF-I were determined before operation and at 1 week after operation. The ratio of f-PSA/t-PSA (FPSAR) was calculated. Results  The operative time of the experimental group was significantly longer than that of the control group, while the intraoperative blood loss, intestinal function recovery time, hospital stay and the incidence of complications were significantly less/shorter/lower than those in the control group (P< 0.05). After operation, levels of t-PSA, f-PSA, VEGF and IGF-I in the two groups were decreased significantly while FPSAR increased significantly (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in the IPSS score, the maximum urine flow rate, residual urine volume, t-PSA, f-PSA, VEGF, IGF-I or FPSAR at 1 week after operation (P> 0.05). Conclusion The laparoscopic radical prostatectomy can significantly downregulatelevels of serum PSA, VEGF and IGF-I in patients with prostate cancer and improve the FPSAR ratio. The short-term curative effect is similar to open radical operation. However, compared with open operation, the blood loss during laparoscopic operation is less, patients undergoing laparoscopic operation can recover more quickly, and complications are fewer and hospital stay is shorter.

Objective The aim of this study is to investigate the proportion of γδ T cells and concentrations of multiple cytokines in peripheral blood of neuroblastoma patients. Furthermore,  we will also stimulate γδ T cell proliferation and analyze the apoptosis of γδ T cells. Methods The proportion of peripheral blood γδ T cells (CD3+、TCRγδ+) from children with NB was  analyzed through flow cytometry. The concentrations of multiple cytokines were detected by luminex200 system. We then stimulated and cultured γδ T cells in the condition of PAM and IL-2, and detected the cell apoptosis by Annexin V staining. Results The γδ T cells proportion of NB patients were up-regulated significantly and cytokines with survival promoting effect in serum were down-regulated. Moreover, we found an increase of the apoptosis of NB patient γδ T cells during in vitro culture. Conclusion Our research revealed a pathological augment of γδ T cell proportion and its apoptosis in NB patients, which might due to the decrease of cytokines with survival promoting effect. With that knowledge, we proposed that enhancing  the anti-apoptosis ability of γδ T cell is significant to its application to NB clinic treatment.

Objective To study the syphilis patients serum and cerebrospinal fluid for the sensitivity/specificity and correlations in detection methodology, so to evaluate three kinds of methodologies for syphilis especially the diagnostic value of neurosyphilis Method In 483 cases, TRUST (toluidine red unheated test), TPPA (syphilis gelatin particle agglutination test), and FTA - ABS treponema pallidum (fluorescence detection) used to test syphilis serum and cerebrospinal fluid. Patients with syphilis serology positive were given the regular flooding treatment. After six months, we reviewed and evaluated three methodologies separately and the joint detection for the sensitivity and specificity. Result Among 483 patients, there were 372 cases of patients with positive serum for syphilis. For TRUST to detect syphilis serum, the sensitivity and specificity were 68.64% and 88.34% respectively, TPPA syphilis detection of 100% and 99%., and  FTA - ABS detection of 100%. For serum levels of joint detection, the sensitivity and specificity were 100%. There were 52 patients with cerebrospinal fluid positive diagnosis of neurosyphilis. For neurosyphilis cerebrospinal fluid,  TRUST had the sensitivity and specificity of 88.64% and 98.13% respectively, TPPA of 100% and 99% respectively, and FTA - ABS of 96.4% and 100% respectively. The cerebrospinal fluid joint detection had the sensitivity and specificity of 100%. After six months, in 52 cases of cerebrospinal fluid, TRUST TPPA and FTA ABS were used for reviewing. TRUST overcast rate was 40.38% (21/52), and degree of decline rate was 71.15% (37/52), and drops of < 1:4, TPPA and FTA - ABS were positive, and serum TRUST overcast rate was 7.69% (4/52), drops fell rate was 51.92% (27/52), drop degree < 1:16. Cerebrospinal fluid TRUST overcast rate was relatively higher than blood TRUST turns shade rate, (P < 0.05). Conclusion CSF TRUST can be used as for curative effect observation, also the index of relapse or reinfection. Fluorescence treponema pallidum test methodology, as the confirmed experiment, has certain advantages, but the positive rate is slightly lower than the TPPA in cerebrospinal fluid examination. It should be jointly used with TPPA as neurosyphilis standard of for confirming cases. The laboratory cerebrospinal fluid syphilis screening diagnosis should give the priority to TPPA, joint TRUST as a clinical observation, and joint FTA - ABS as syphilis diagnosis experiment.

177Lu has great advantages in the field of tumor therapy because of its excellent radioactive physical properties. A large number of clinical studies have been carried out by clinical researchers on 177Lu labeled radiopharmaceuticals. 177Lu-labeled somatostatin analogue 177Lu-DOTATATE has been approved both in the United States and the European Union. This article reviews the clinical research progress of six 177Lu-labeled radiopharmaceuticals including their labeled peptides, monoclonal antibodies and compounds. Some of them have been approved for clinical trials and others have not been endorsed. Clinical data showed that some of the drugs listed in this article have relatively good safety, and have promising effects on prolonging the survival of patients and improving patient’s quality of life. Some drug usage has been proved to be safe, but its specific clinical efficacy needs to be supported by more clinical trial data. We are expecting more 177Lu labeled drugs to enter the market in the near future.
